Holy Cross Hospital is committed to assist in the collection, distribution, donation, facilitation and/or provision of food to small food pantries in Broward County. Every day, our Associates contribute food items, canned goods and change from our hospital’s cafeteria and Heart Healthy Café.

One in six children in Broward County goes to bed hungry every night, and one in four is food-insecure. Our Associates have rallied around this cause and have donated nonperishable canned and dry goods every year, which are collected by Community Outreach and donated to small food pantries throughout the community. More than two tons of food is collected each year.
